Rating + 5 Replacement/Returned Cobra GPS

Seller was great replacing and then returning a defective Cobra GPS.
Very prompt sending the unit, and when needed replacement and returning. Wish all Sellers were like Road Entertainment.

I bought a GPS from this customer the unit was great
but I failed to read the type of GPS. This one was designed
for truck drivers. It was the wrong GPS for me. I return it
without an problems. I'm definitely will buy form this vendor in the future.

I emailed this seller after the item I purchased broke during assembly. I described the problem in detail along with my preference for dealing with the issue. Roughly one day later I got the return email, they decided to issue an RMA#(which I did not want) regardless, the RMA was for the wrong part, I can only believe they did not fully read my email. I replied and explained the mistake and have since been ignored, it's pushing a week now and I have sent additional emails trying to get this issue dealt with and still no response. I'm not sure if the csr that handled my ticket doesn't want to rectify this or if it's general policy to see if the buyer will forget about the issue through non response but BUYER BEWARE. This is the first time I purchased through this seller and it will be the last. This amount of time to respond to multipal emails is absolutely untolerable hence the 1 egg, and that is only due to the fact that I can't give zero eggs. Not a recommended seller

Rating + 1 Sport Action Camera

Ordered the sport action camera on Dec 2013, seller said mailing to me, but losing in mail, took it long, long time to re-ship to me, finally received the camera in middle of Feb 2014, but found out the camera is defective, no matter how long and how many times I charged, the camera only shows partial charge.

Product is great and shipping was fast. The only thing is that buying on newegg marketplace is not like buying directly from newegg directly. Contacting newegg order department would not help.
Seller has different business hours from other business and did not reply my e-mail for 1 week.
I did got the product and it did work. I would avoid buying from the marketplace in the future.

Newegg is great but their affiliated are not on the same line.

    You may return items purchased from Road Entertainment for a refund or a replacement with the following requirements.

    * All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
    * An RMA number must be requested within 30 calendar days after the date of your purchase.
    * An RMA number is valid for 14 calendar days after it is provided.
    Refunds :
    * A processing fee of 10 percent will apply to the cost of the merchandise being returned for a refund.
    * Refunds are applied to the method of payment used at the time of purchase within 2 business days after receiving the returned merchandise.
    * Only the value of the merchandise returned will be refunded, not the shipping cost.
    * When free shipping was offered on the item returned for a refund, the original shipping cost that we paid the shipping carrier will be deducted from your refund.
    Defective Merchandise:
    * Merchandise that is defective upon receipt will be replaced.
    * You may return defective merchandise for a refund, however the unit needs to be returned with all its accessories in the same condition as you received it. If anything will be missing from your return a restocking fee may apply.
    Shipping Damage:
    * We inspect our packages before they leave our warehouse. If your merchandise is damaged during shipment by the shipping courier, please contact us immediately as we must be informed within 2 business days from the date of receipt for all damage/shipping related claims. Damaged merchandise will be replaced with the same model only. You may also return damaged merchandise for a refund.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
