- Returns Policy
We are sorry if you have to file an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request. In order to help you to get your replacement/exchange/refund as smoothly as possible, please read the policies below carefully in advance. Thank You.
RMA’s must be approved by Etekcity Corporation in order to be valid and honored. Please note that our RMA department will not process your return without the RMA number. Customer must carefully pack items being returned as if they were new and working. Failure to do so may invalidate both the RMA and the warranty.
For a replacement or exchange:
o After receiving the returned package, our RMA department will process the RMA as well as inspect the returned items. You will receive the new item within 3-7 business after we have received and inspected your return.
For a refund:
o After receiving the returned package, our RMA department will process the RMA as well as inspect the returned items. If the return passes inspection we will issue the refund within 3 business days. Please note that if the returned item is working properly, the original shipping cost we paid may be deducted from the refund. Also, a 15% restocking fee may be accessed in certain situations.
o Please refer to the specific warranty information in the listing for each product.For those products supported by Etekcity Corporation, each party will be responsible for one way shipping during the warranty period. Etekcity Corporation is not responsible for applicable international tariffs such as broker fees and customs duties.
o An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be issued in order to process a replacement or to authorize a return for warranty repair. Please contact us for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
o Etekcity Corporation will, at its sole option, replace or repair the defective unit with a replacement after the defective unit is received. Once the product is received, Etekcity Corporation will send out a replacement unit to the customer by ground service (subject to inventory availability). Please do not return any unauthorized items to Etekcity Corporation, as they will be refused. The RMA number must be included on the outside label of your shipping box. Our warehouse is not authorized to accept returns without an RMA number on the shipping label.
o If there is a Manufacturer Direct Warranty, please return the unit directly to Manufacturer.
1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
