It's taking this seller way to long to process and ship one hard drive. Sent an email to find out where my drive is because it's been over a week. No answer. Don't waste your time with this seller. Spend the extra $10 to get the drive through Newegg and have a fast shipping and email response time. I needed this drive days ago for my dvr since it's full. I missed a few shows because they are taking forever to ship. After a month of aggravation I ended up not receiving my item and getting a refund. Seriously save your self the headace and order from micro center or some other tech company.

I ordered an item from Storite. It had been showing as "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item" since I'd ordered it. After a week, I asked for an update and got this reply (this is a verbatim cut and paste of their entire message):

your item is in transit.

That was it. Now, 9 days later, the item is STILL "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item" on the USPS tracking site. No further notice or updates from the seller. I don't even know if what I ordered is actually in stock, or if it's been picked and packaged, much less actually shipped. The USPS certainly doesn't think it's shipped.

All I know is that I've been billed and paid for an item 17 days ago, and that the item may or may not actually even exist in the sellers inventory and has not actually shipped yet according to the agency supposedly transporting it.

They sold a drive with over 2 years of use as new. 99% of customers wouldn't have the experience to know the difference, so this is very profitable fraud. They should be removed from NewEgg Marketplace and put in jail, and NewEgg should give a $20 store credit to everyone who's purchased from these criminals in hopes of avoiding a class action suit.

item was delivered a day late via usps, and poorly packed in cheap material, not even in a box, yet item was ordered in NEW condition, not used/refurbished. Have not been able to test product as of yet due to waiting for another seller to get their act together and deliver another component.

Avoid this seller at all costs! IMO this seller is shady at best! Item ordered was either lost or never delivered to USPS for sending. Now I am having trouble getting a refund from this seller!

I am fed up with them and Newegg. Drive was used and dead on arrival, over a month since I ordered and have sent it back I still don't have my money back.
I have used Newegg for over a decade, this deal ends it for me.

Do not order from this seller. Ever. After my package was not sent for a whole week, (I chose 5-7 business day shipping at checkout) I asked the seller to cancel my order. I then went and placed my order on another online retailer and got my item the next day with free next day shipping. The seller then sent the items I ordered even though I explicitly told them NOT to send it. I better get my money back and the seller better refund the shipping. I sure hope I have good buyer protection through Newegg.

I would never recommend other people to shop here.
I ordered a New 1TB Hitachi HDD from Storite, Reliable Storage Solution.
They sent me an obviously rebranded and repackaged HDD with a life expectancy of 11 days. The drive surface had over 118 dead sectors. So after filing for a refund with 2 people (they didnt respond the first time) i have to wait about 2-3 weeks just to get a refund, not only that, but i had to pay out of pocket to ship it back to them.

Has been five days and still no tracking information for hard drive. Everything else came in perfectly fine. This was for a customers build and now I'm out of money till WHOEVER KNOWS WHEN. I'LL RETRACT THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW ONCE DRIVE IS HERE BY FRIDAY. YOU'VE HAD A WEEK TO SHIP

I ordered a 2TB Hard Drive on 9/23/16. 6 days later (9/29/16) it still had not been picked up by USPS. When I asked what happened, they said "they confirmed the package was handed over to the carrier vehicle for further shipment" (I think not). In the next line they said "The new stock is expected next week on Tuesday or Wednesday. Let us know if you want a full refund or you will wait?" Sounds to me like they didn't have the drive no stock and were stalling. I needed the drive for a repair that had to be completed on the 30th (the next day) so I asked for a refund. Forced to drive 40 miles to buy locally (at twice the cost) and work all night to finish the job. The next day (9/30/16) I get an email with a tracking number... They sent the drive anyway and not the refund. I asked them why they sent it, I wanted a refund. The drive was delivered 10/1/16 around 10:30 PM, at 2:43 PM they said "apologies as this was shipped in error. can you refuse it ?". Too Late! 10/3/16 They asked "do you need a prepaid shipping label to return it ?" Like I would pay to return it. Finally got the Shipping label and shipped drive back on 10/11/16. Just received a refund today on 10/19/16. (Almost 1 month later). I should have paid $5.00 more on E bay and got it in 3 days. Lesson learned.

I would not recommend this store to anybody. I had to contact them for them to even make a shipping label, and then they email me after 5 days saying that the package was lost and that they cant send another for an entire week. They specialize in the sale of computer storage and they don't even have any in stock as a replacement? Who the heck is running this s4!7 show? I just hope that they actually refund me and don't just scam me like I see they've done to many people before. I will be opening a case against them if I am not refunded fully.

Ordered an external drive from this seller on May 17th and still have not received it or had a refund issued despite newegg customer service sending them an email informing them of an issue. If I could give no stars and big hell no don't ever use this seller again I would. Customer service is a big fat 0. Over a months wait for external hard drive and no correspondence... Get it together will you.

I am editing this review as the seller finally contacted me on 09/14/2016 regarding this transaction and offered their apologies for all the aggro that I had with this order. I declined their secondary offer not because I wasn't grateful but because it was too little too late. However, they did reach out to me and for that I am thankful as I know there is someone there who tried to make it right. For that I have changed my review and moved my rating to a neutral as promised.
