Great Product - Horrible Customer Service! 12/27/2016 1:59:51 PM
Starting out I would have gladly given 5 stars for the product, but when you mix customer service in, it drops big time! I placed an order for the 9005 & 9006 lights on 12/3 and received them on 12/9, however when I checked them, they were both the same (9006), and same model number (96-HL-6). How someone picked the exact same box after checking my order and seeing the model number clearly on the outside of the box is beyond me!
I filed a claim on Saturday Dec. 10th knowing I wouldn't hear back until the beginning of the week. I didn’t hear back until Wednesday the 14th and immediately responded with Brooke’s request for a picture showing the same model number on both boxes. Even though I responded immediately, she didn’t responded until the next business day (Dec. 15th) and when she did she said the picture didn’t come through. I responded again within 1.5 hours of her email, this time in PDF format and waited. Again, she didn’t respond until the next day (Dec. 16th) and she again said the picture didn’t come through, but would send out the bulbs anyway, but withhold any warranty pending my return of the wrong ones. Three days later (Dec. 19th) she emails me a priority mail tracking number so I’m thinking, great, we can finally get this resolved. Well, the tracking number was created on the 18th on Sunday evening, and for the next four days (Monday – Thursday) I checked the tracking number on USPS.com and the only thing it stated was “Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item.” I sent two emails during that time and received no response. Finally on Thursday Dec 22 at 6:41 PM the postal service received my lights, but I still did not receive a response to my emails. My lights finally arrived Christmas eve.
This is where it gets really interesting. When they send the original lights, they are in the nice black box, properly protected in foam with another box with cables attached to the bottom, great packaging right? When I received the replacement bulbs they were packaged in a white box, 9.75” long X 3.5” wide X 2” high just thrown in loose with wires and absolutely no protection! I had my daughter take a video of me opening them and a picture of what the inside of the box looked like with the lights in them. The box rattled as the lights banged against each other all the way from California to the East Coast! Great customer service!
In checking with the BBB I read the following: OPT 7 Lighting has received 1.55 out of 5 stars based on 6 Customer Reviews and 11 complaints and a BBB Rating of F. After today it will be 7 customer reviews and 12 complaints!
Bottom line, I can't recommend this company, but if you decide to buy from them be careful, if you get the wrong lights be prepared to wait and don’t hesitate to keep emailing them after you hear back. You have to stay on top of them!

Opt7 fluxbeam headlights (CREE) 5/11/2016 11:40:58 AM
These are high quality high output headlights, work great on my 2014 silverado ltz projector headlights (even fit behind the dust caps with some fidgeting) Much better than the stock halogen or silverstar ultras which run extremely hot. Only thing better would be a HID kit, but hooking up relays directly to the battery and drilling through your moisture barriers is a hassle and causes value loss as people think you messed everything up

If you think that there is a possibility that you will have to return them or they might not fit do not get these lights. They look cool but it took me a week communicating with customer service to return them. They are not equipped to read your email address through their support system. You have to spell it out like DOT AT Yahoo Dot COM. That's crazy Ive never heard of that before. The lights looked like they are good quality but did not fit since my headlights are aftermarket.

Took a little long for a refund 9/9/2015 2:09:54 PM
One set of lights (H7 for my 2002 VW) did not fit, because they will not accept the retaining ring. There is such a warning regarding the H7/H4 bulbs in the instructions inside the box, but not on any of their ad materials.

OPT7 took them back without question, but it has taken well over a month due to delays in sending, then sending the wrong mail return label.

Worked in 2006 BMW X5 8/30/2015 7:14:04 PM
I bought several lights from this manufacturer, from LED C2 series light bars, HID headlight kits, and this H11 was a replacement for my BMW fogs (3000k ish). Match the stock BMW HIDs very well, and very bright.

H7 LED Headlights 8/22/2015 6:13:32 AM
Lights were looked up and verified to fit the car on the site. They were H7 replacements. What was shipped has no resemblance to the original H7 bulbs and of course would not fit in the housing. To top it off, when I requested a return, I received a message that I could not return them, even though they would not fit. Good bye $90. If they could be installed I would keep them. I would never trust this vendor again since there is no way to verify the accuracy of the fit before ordering.
