They said they would replace my product and asked for a confirmation on if I did. I said yes, and nothing has been said back to me. If only they communicated better.

Rating + 2 Good Lights, Bad Controller(s)

I received my kit on a Tuesday, I opened it up hooked the led's up for a bench test and they lit right up. Next I start test the IR remote and the light settings. Starting with the "Red" key then I moved right though the colors one by one, row by row...they all worked including the Presets, Arrows, DYI's all of them worked.

(I press Red again)Then I get to the Brightness Keys at the very top of remote. I press "Bright up/down" and the controller stops working, stuck on red. It would not respond to any key press including power. I tried a 2nd remote and no joy!
I called the seller and explained the issue, Seller (nice guy) said he would send a replacement out the next day (no need to return the first one). The replacement arrived fast as well. Hooked it up to bench test.....and did the testing as above but this time I did the color key and then tried the Brightness keys next. I got the same result as the first time!! Stuck on "Red" and not responding to any key presses!!!
The Controllers to this kit have a flaw that renders then useless, as far as I can tell it is the "Brightness" Keys that kill it!!

The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.

We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
