Solid replacement battery! 5/12/2017 9:07:22 PM
In restoring an older laptop, I purchased an extended size battery for my older Toshiba computer that I upgraded to Windows 10. Wanting a battery that added height to allow the laptop to breathe and not blow a lot of hot air, the battery definitely fits that requirement. It works fine, and does the job well to earn the 5 stars I give them.

My only complaint is the packaging of the battery. While it arrived on time and without damage, the battery was not really boxed well. It just had bubble wrap around it. Albeit a heavy bubble wrap to protect it, it didn't do a solid job as a plastic piece did manage to pop off the battery. Thankfully it didn't break off, so I could snap it back in. Things happen.

Would definitely buy from this seller again.

Memory made to fit does not mean made to work. 4/26/2017 7:00:18 AM
In a way it is my fault for not knowing that ECC REG DIMM memory ram are not really design for a typical consumer desktop computer. But the product description should had warn about the type of computer that they are design for.....specify one of a Server type. I just looked at the DIMM 184-pin type and assumed it will work. But in the back of my mind I did wondered what ECC REG meant...but didn't bother to research it beforehand.

Second I also learn that SaveMart is the "middle man" between Newegg and the ultimate seller/dealer of the product.

So I am force to return it and hope I get my money credited/refunded.

They shipped my power supply in an envelope. Never buy anything from these cheap rip offs. Haven't test to see if it even works. Well see.

Do not buy from this company. They took my money and sent a bogus tracking number. At first I thought it was just waiting to get picked up. Nope. Contacted them after a week and they said they'd look into it. It's been a month and I haven't seen the tracking number change from status not available. Moral of the story, don't buy from these guys.

Overall, ok, one concerning issue 4/10/2017 1:22:02 PM
The RAM I ordered was as described, as is working fine so far, but the packaging was completely wrong, in my humble opinion. Computer hardware, circuit boards especially, should never be packaged and shipped in nothing but a thin flexible bubble envelope. Completely unacceptable. That is not enough protection, especially when the hoards themselves are only packaged in a thin plastic clamshell. I would attach photos, but there doesn't seem to be an option for that on this review form.

The only other issue I had was that they sent me the wrong tracking number, so there was some confusion there. It was shipped on 3/28. By the time I got the right number, the package had arrived, on the very last day of their shipping window, which was 5-7 days. I placed the order 3/22, but didn't receive the package until 4/3. 5 days to process the order and 7 for shipping? I wasn't thrilled about the timeline.

The product was not process immediately after payment was given. It was delayed about 6-7 days. I contact the Seller and they did rectify the situation as quickly as possible. I did receive the product 4-5 days later than expected, but the quality was not diminished.

I expect processing issue from time to time, so I am not overly upset. The seller corrected the issue without giving me a hard time. That's all I ask when things get off on the wrong foot.

Don't Expect Any Form of Customer Service From NewEgg 2/27/2017 9:25:10 PM
If the product isn't what fit your system, or you have any issue at all, your response from the only way you might contact NewEgg is email, where you will receive an email which states " we will respond to your email in 2-5 days.

If you are due a refund, expect to wait 7-10 days as they hold your money, utilizing "Float," to make even more profit, even after they make an exceptional profit on shipping you your product. I wonder how their vendors make a profit, as they have had to apologize and document how it is NewEgg that is the source of all discrd.
