4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good This combo has been rock-solid

Pros: I took my old system, swapped the MB and my linux system was up before I could get the ILOM console up. Very fast. I got the package with the X10SRA-F-O motherboard. I've only had it up for a bit over a week, but it's already shown to be more stable then my Gigabyte I had before.
The layout of the M/B is good. I was able to put a big cooler on the cpu, and I can still access memory. The rest of the heat sinks are passive, which I like. I've had to replace bridge cooler fans before. it's a pain.

Cons: It has no USB2 ports. Only USB3, so I can't just plug into the MB, I did buy a USB3 mb cable/outlets, but the durn cable's a couple inches short. Sigh.
The other issue I'm having is that the desktop is coming up on the ILOM, and not on the video card. I have found out how to fix it, but haven't had time yet. I will make this a 2-seat system.

Other Thoughts: I plan on using this box as a combo-media server and VM server. It's stinkin fast, and up to this point has been stable. I did get a bad MB. That was a bit disappointing. The CPU socket pins were bent. NewEgg did a very fast replacement though. I was happy with the RMA service. The SuperMicro box has no seals, so there's no way to check if it's a open box or not. It's gonna be hard to prove that the bent pins happened at NewEgg, the SuperMicro plant, or where-ever. So I don't count this one against NewEgg.

The board lined up just right in my ATX case. I put a CoolerMaster 612V2 on top of the cpu. So far, I haven't heard a whisper from the box. Yea, some of that's the cooler, but even on boot up, I haven't heard the fan wind up. The thermal controls seem to work great.
I'll run the box for a few months, and put in a update if I see problems.
