Belkin's F5U508v1 has 6 ports so there is no waiting. The ports are split evenly between USB 2.0 and FireWire. One port of each interface is internal. There is a 4 pin Molex connector on the back of the card to ensure that your bus powered devices are amply provided for.
The card is compatible with PCs and Macs that have an available PCI 2.1 slot. You'll need to be using Win98SE or Mac OS 10.2.8 or later for full functionality.
