Pros: This HDD was very fast and loading windows and games in a very short time and I was very pleased with how fast it did.
Cons: Unfortunately my HDD failed after one year of use, though I would still recommend this to anyone because of how great it performed when it was still in use.
Pros: Cost was reasonable, they work just as advertised, Used these to replace failed drives in a Dual Drive NAS after 1 failed and I decided to upgrade the space from 2-1Tb drives to 2-2Tb drives. They work flawlessly. Just plug play, set up for the NAS and go!
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I would definitely reccomend these for use in a NAS any time
Pros: I have my collection of games, music, documents, and etc. on this drive and it is still kicking after 3 years. I purposely waited to review this drive to see how long it would last. It's fast for a mechanical HD {Not as fast as SSD}. It's still an excellent drive and you can't go wrong with purchasing this device.
Cons: Not one thing.
Other Thoughts: Kinda wish I went for a larger drive. Still a good choice though.
Pros:
-Good price for 2 tb.
-Works well.
Cons: None
Pros:
Large size
Fast
Much cheaper than the WD counterpart
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Highly recommended
Pros: I used 2 of these drives to replace a failed and a failing "image" storage drive. Popped them in, initiated them and named them the same as the "old" drives and my backup programs just grabbed them as if nothing had changed. I've moved away from Seagate over the last few years as their quality has seemed to diminish. So far no issues with these. Time will tell.
Cons: None so far
Pros:
-fast, for a hdd
-reliable
-6 years with 0 issues
Cons: -slowly corrupted after overheating once, guess it runs hot
Other Thoughts: probably would have lasted longer if my motherboard regulated temps like it should. one instance of forgetting to turn on msi afterburner and it's over

Pros: 2TB drive for $99 in 2013 was a great deal.
Quiet and used as a mirrored set of storage drives
Used them to double my storage and replace a pair of 1TB drives.
They lasted 5 years before started failing.
Cons: None to speak of, 5 years of service is pretty good for a spinning hard drive, especially for the price I paid.
Other Thoughts: Both drives have failed with in 6 months of each other after nearly 5 years of constant use.
Moving up to 4TB drives to double the storage again. I hope the new ones last at least as long as these did.
