Poor quality and not very quiet (as advertised)

Pros: The one nice thing about this case is that there appears to be no sharp edges on the metal parts inside the case, and is packaged well in its retail box.

Cons: There are quite a few negatives about this case, which are listed out below.

1) The front panel is a extremely poor fit for the case. The front panel does not sit flush against the rest of the case and is noticeably higher than the other metal chassis. This is very annoying to see on my desk and have a large gap just sticking out.

2) Why would Silverstone think that less than a half inch gap between the front 120 mm fan and the inside of the front bezel would provide adequate airflow to the case. There are three different size fans in this case as well, but that doesn't come close to the bad design of airflow for the front fan. This is also because the fan is mounted outside of the case, when I originally bought this case I thought it would be mounted inside and if that were the case then there would have been enough room for proper airflow.

3) The expansion slot retention system is very poor design, and anytime that you have one of those horrible retention brackets that need to be installed to keep the any expansion cards in place they are prone to wiggle.

4) There is room for longer graphics cards, but the horribly designed hard drive bracket makes no sense as to why it extends from the top to the bottom of the case when the bottom half of it is unusable.

5) There is no room for cable management

6) The side panels did not look that hideous on Newegg but seeing them in person... Those weird finger grips on the side are not as deep as they appeared in the marketing pictures and are pretty much useless in person. They are also very flimsy.

7) Even though this case is marketed as a quiet case it is no more quiet than any other case I've owned. Even with the foam on the side panels this case is too loud.

I suppose that I could have deduced many of the issues by simply examining the pictures via Newegg more closely, but I wanted to see if Silverstone was any good since it was my first purchase of their products.

Other Thoughts: There is one good thing and that is Silverstone did not include their logo on the front bezel and included it in the bag of hardware.

The best MicroATX for the money. Period.

Pros: -More sturdy than other cases in its price range
-Has sound dampening foam on the side panels
-Comes with whisper quiet front intake fan
-Stylish black, sleek and subtle design that doesnt look out of place in any environment.
-Enough room for a large video card.
-Extremely easy to work in.

Cons: -Side mounted power button and LED.

Other Thoughts: I build custom computers for people. I have probably used this case 30 times or so. Every time I try something else, I always end up coming back to this one. Fantastic case for the money.

Poorly machined

Pros: the case might be quiet if the other components were?
it really doesnt silence anything, but it does build up heat pretty good. which is cool because its cold here right now

Cons: the stand offs were IMPOSSIBLE to get in even with their handy little tool. i had to machine them myself to get any kind of headway, into a final mounting. so ....-4 horse points for not knowing how to thread...
Also my first silverstone product, probably wont be getting again. there is no room for cable management, 2 fan slots are 90mm which i knew going in, but just ...those fans just dont get enough steam going to move anything.

oh and the front cover comes off with a slight tap, push, pull, or in general if i touch it. so... there is that too

Not worth the $50 price tag

Pros: PS09B is a small case that fit mATX and ITX motherboard.
Foam padded side panels.
2 front USB 3.0.
No top or side venting, so less dirt will enter your system.

Cons: Only 1x120mm fan is included.
An additional front intake fan option only accept 80mm fan.
Rear exhaust is for 80 or 92mm fan.
Case runs hot, very hot, compare to other similar case.
Only accept 1 2.5 drive, and it's on the bottom panel of the case.
Foam padded panels don't really reduce the noise.
Case is made from really thin sheet of metal. Not really a solid case.

Other Thoughts: You better off pay a few extra $ to get a better case. You can get a much better if you willing to spend a little more. Don't get this case unless you cannot afford to spend a extra $10 to get a better case.
I would recommend install 80mm fan for front intake and 92mm fan for exhaust because this case will run really hot without additional fans.
PS08B will be a better choice if you don't mind the side venting, and dirt.

Quiet, until the vacuum starts

Pros: When I first got this guy I was very impressed with the overall look, that hasn't changed. The case is very sleek and very quiet. It does a great job of keeping the sound down. The hardware and routing was really set up well also. I really like the lack of lights and other silly stuff on e front, as this was a build to suppliment our home entertainment system, and lights take away from watching the television. Also the interior set up was awesome, they really tried to set it up in a way that would really allow airflow through the compartment.

Cons: When you use all the available fans ports, even after tuning them appropriatly, this case will create a vacuum on the exhaust fans, and that can get a bit noisy when you are playing online. I know this case was not designed for this, so I cannot be too critical, it has worked great for me and my household.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a clean, sleek, and quiet build, then this is your case. If you are a gamer, then buy something with better air flow. You will need it.

great case

Pros: Set out to build a low power server for the home lan. First build was one of those really small mini-itx cases. It was too small and too hot with the dual 3tb hard drives. This case solved that and I was also able to put my dvd burner in it.

Cons: none

Perfect MicroATX

Pros: Good USB 3.0 placement and solid slots
Front quiet fan with dust filters on air intakes
Front plastic has good finishing
Overall good look

Cons: little cramped

Other Thoughts: I've bought this for two customers, its quiet, though one was easy the other one had two raid 1 drives and fitting both in skipping a space between them for cooling purposes was kind of a pain due to lack of space and long cords best on the power supply. Best get a modular PSU for this thing

Flimsy

Pros: Nice Looking Case. Not too large for a MicroAtx build. Elegant feel into the case.

Cons: The case is too lightweight, and very flimsy until you start building it.

You have to twist and bend the back Card slots, to "cut" the cheap metal away and and insert the card.

Received damage and couldn't fix the damage , so had to tape the front panel to the main body to keep the front panel intact. (Because the case skeleton is way to flimsy)

I was too busy and in hurry to request and go through the dreaded RMA process. I emailed SilverStone about the damage, after months, they couldn't help. I understand; and I am moving on to something else.

Besides, the case itself (without a front Panel), is a copycat of another brand. I guess the other brand and SilverStone bough these pre-designed cases.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this Model because I had older SilverStone cases, and their quality was superior. But not the same with this case. You get what you pay for.

I think my loyalty to SilverStone is wanning. Time to try and build other PCs with other brand cases; I am going to try Corsair.
