usb 2.0 or 3.0?

its 2.0 but also varies, mine actually performs better than my external 3.0 cause its hooked up straight to the motherboard. I am a first time user (only had it for a few days) and I'm in love. hd audio (if mother board supported and faster than normal usb (again depends on your motherboard) I build custom PC's for a living, and for the price I will be recommending this much more often. just wish it didn't have the outdated fire wire on it. I know long winded, but i hope that helps.

This is USB 2.0. USB 3.0 will generally be a different colour or have a ss next to the port.

I see that this is a 2.0 USB. Do they make 3.0 USB?

I assume by "they" you mean Silverstone. The answer to your first question is yes, but it doesn't look like they have any that have all three of what you want. Here is all I found:

FP32 audio, USB 2.0, Firewire

FP36 USB 3.0, 2.5 inch hard drives
FP36-E USB 3.0, 2.5 inch hard drives with 19-pin USB 3 cable

FP38 USB 3.0, hard drives
FP56 multi-card, USB 3.0, 2.5 inch drives

Other companies make what you want, for example Koutech IO-FPM530, IO-RCM630, or IO-RCM730. They seem to be out of stock at newegg, though. There's also the nMedia i18-C28.
