good card, bad package

Pros: great piece of hardware

Cons: worst packaging i've ever seen, no adapters of any relevance, manual is for 8800 gt card not even right manual, horrible(read no) support from pny's website.

Other Thoughts: I'm not gonna claim anything about my own tech knowledge except that any person no matter how little they know, would see the short falls of this product. ironically the card its self is pretty good and a decent bargian if not for the fact that if i'd spent another 10 dollars i would have gotten the far better support of another company. first off this card came with outdated drivers, a manual for a last gen card(8800 gt), and not any of the right types of adapters, it came with a adapter to 6 pin, not in the least neccessary, and no adapter for the 8 pin power outlet, this resulted in a card that didn't work for a wopping two weeks. and cost me the difference of a better product package deal from evga or someone else. It seems silly to put out a decent card like this without standard parts to make it function. this is the second card i've bought from pny but it will sadly be the last.

slicker than grease

Pros: this thing kills all of my games and renders a dvd in less than 3 minutes. L4D on full spec's runs perfect, and I do not use that term lightly.

Cons: big and hot, but what the heck any self respecting gamer should have a large case and know how change the fan speed

Other Thoughts: I bought a secondary power supply to run this (thermaltake toughpower 650W) I did this so that I could keep my old 400w and I would still have enough power so that if I wanted to add another 9800 gx2 I could just slap it in.

NICE Card - Hot

Pros: This card is freaking HUGE I tell you Huge... I have a P5E Motherboard and a Lian Li 1200PLUS tower.... I cannot use my highest PCI slot without routing my MB connectors which are right in the way somewhere else ... This card is actually loger than my motherboard *shocking*

Runs on the warm side 55*- 60* even at idle as to be expected from a dual GPU card. Get Riva tuner or other fan adjustment app otherwise you will be breaking 75* easily... I noticed this once i got my rivatune configured properly to display this Suggest clear air path and good fans you will need them

Cons: wish my motherboard had let me use the top most part of my case...I will tweak this more tonight... can't wait to leave work!

Other Thoughts: Even in my tower case my motherboard layout made for a tight sqweeze... but the performance I'm getting is SICK... great card I recommend it

its okay

Pros: its great for games like crysis. however both gpu's inside will work when SLI is enabled, otherwise it works like an 8800gt.
best decision i made in a long time. upgraded from an 8600gt oc2 from BFG. lol. fast fast fast.

Cons: big. but i found a way to fit it inside my antec 900. though when it came to screwing it down i had to pull the back of my case inward. *shakes head* have somone help you with that. lol.
only came with an 8 pin to 6 pin pci e adapter.
so i have to go buy a new PSU to work.
wow.

what a hassle.

*shrugs*

Other Thoughts: great card. be prepared when ordering. deffinately beat my friends gtx260. lolz with the updated drivers.

its pretty satisfactory for me.

set up.

8pin pcie adapter missing

Pros: Great card over all.

Cons: doesn't come with 8pin pcie adapter

Other Thoughts: Newegg shouldn't false advertise, no matter what. Creditability/Quality > Quantity

Nice Card

Pros: This card is great the hdmi 1080p Picture is Great with games and blue-ray It has alot of settings and Overclocking is a breeze. I still have things to ajust and figure out .This Card is great if you dont have An Sli ready MB it gets very hot so download the riva tuner 2 and ajust you fan speeds and monitor you temp.

Cons: At first I bought the the none overclocked one but when I recived it the spdif cable that is shown in the description did not come with it. And the main reason I bought this card is for the hdmi but without the SPDIF cable You can not get sound. on my sony KDL 52W100 LCD. So I sent it back and Ordered this one this also came with no SPDIF Cable. So I called PNY And they Are going to send it to me. Its just A Pain. Anyway Also when watching Blue-Ray with HDMI 1080p You Have to change the refresh rate for 60hz to 24hz or you will get a studder I dont know why I must do some reserch on that. I also used everest to check temps and notice this this card has less temp monitors then the non overclocked you would think there would be more on the overclocked version. When gaming @1080P it slightly cuts out some of the view not a big deal I am sure it an ajustment.

Other Thoughts: Overall This Is a nice card I like it and when I really learn how to tweak it I am sure I will like it more.

Good Card

Pros: Good performance, overclocks well, single slot SLI solution.

Cons: Runs hot with stock cooler, can only utilize 512MB of memory, doesn't perform well with games not suited for SLI.

Other Thoughts: After installing an EK waterblock, managed to overclock further to 750Mhz (no artifacts), and at full load it only reaches 43*C!

THE BEST THING OUT!!!!

Pros: Blows away the competition for sure! you cant go wrong in buying this card. You have to get some software to monitor heat though it runs hot! my room when from being nice and air conditioned to a summer on Hawaii so make sure you have a window opened or something for fresh air to come through.

Cons: before you alter the fan speeds yourself it runs at a whopping 70C so i boosted it to 55% and its a 50C and i do around 90% while gaming to keep it even cooler at 48C so its a hot monster but you can fix that, Oh how could i forget...ITS F"ING HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! i tried putting it into my NZXT Appolo mid tower case and i was wiggling it and bumping into stuff the whole three inches down to the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: My Build:
NZXT Apollo Mid tower case, 4GB of DDR2 Dual channel corsair XMS2 RAM, Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz, Asus p5QC mother board supporting DDR3, (1) 10,000RPM 150GB Raptor from WD, (1) 1,000GB (1TB) HDD from WD, PNY 9800GX2 OC, BLU-Ray player and DVD CD reader/burner, 800 watt power up, power supply.
