Pros: Great card for the money. $ to performance ratio is great. Looks great in my case and displays very well on my 46" samsung 6 series lcd. no noticeable degradation in sound pass-thru.
Cons: gets VERY hot. the reason for the 3 stars is because it would keep shutting off during my initial OS setup. it would just get too hot and turn its self off. i would lose video signal during an OS install. so now i have my case on its side with the window panel off to vent the heat from this card. i may be contacting galaxy soon to see if i can resolve this.`
Other Thoughts: get it, but not without an additional pci cooler.
Pros: Excelent Card, works great with my shuttle build. HDMI out sends both video and audio (via 2 small pins from motherboard to the card) through 1 connection to your HDTV.
Cons: This card does get pretty hot. I ended up adding extra ventilation to my shuttle in order for me to feel comfortable with the temperature of the overall system. If you have a big case with lots of ventilation, it wont be a problem. For smaller cases, take caution.
Other Thoughts: 2 small pins were hard to find and are labeled incorrectly in the instructions that came with the card. I had to flip the pins upside down in order for the sound to properly feed from the motherboard from the video card. All in all, I would buy another if i was building another system and wanted HDMI out.
Pros: Going from an 8800GT to this 9800GTX+ was a great upgrade. I love what Galaxy has done to customize the card with their own cooler, board color and clock speeds. It looks great in my case (blue theme) and runs very quiet in the background.
Cons: Umm,, it won't make coffee and breakfast for me in the morning. I'm training it and should have good results in the near future ;-)
Other Thoughts: Great price for a great card. Nice two year warranty to boot.
Pros: Flawless Graphics. Best card for the price. Never an issue.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I installed an FSP x3 independent 300 watt power booster to the Galaxy geforce 9800 card and it ran cooler and has worked flawlessly. atxpowersupplies
Pros: Everything compareing it to my old 9600 GT
Cons: None on a working Card, I recieved a defective one that liked to over heat, Newegg RMA to the rescue
Other Thoughts:
For the HDMI audio SPDIF pins look here, http://www.galaxytech.com/9800GTX%2B%20HDMI.jpg
They were a bit tricky to find.
Pros: The size of the card is physically smaller than the other 9800GTX+ based on the reference design, so it will fit in smaller cases (mATX Rosewill case for me).
Cons: It kept crashing on me in the last level of Call of Duty: World At War. Not sure if it was a driver problem or a problem with the card. The card is two slots wide although only takes up one slot in the rear of the case. I'd prefer the dual slot exhaust fan as I think it would help cooling the card.
Other Thoughts: I think it would run better in a very well ventilated case. I didn't install the software that came with it and used the latest Nvidia drivers instead of the ones on the CD.
Pros: This card performs very well, Crysis is the only game that has slowed it down on high settings is Crysis. I don't notice that it is very loud and would reccomend this card. Even after long sessions playing I have not had any problems with the card overheating.
Cons: None

Pros: the card functions just as well as the others in the line.
Cons: Comparing this to the other 9800GTX+'s its definately running hot. With two of these at 100% use stock speeds it runs at 95c where as the other from another brand runs at only 74c. Goes to show a good brand name does make a difference.
Other Thoughts: Copper fans make a BIG difference with GPU's in my experience. I used to always use the aftermarket coolers till they started making copper heatsinks stock then i just pick and choose. Worst case scenario you just swap the fan out for a better one, takes a little practice though. Also an 80mm fan on a video card makes amazing temps lol
