Great Product!

Pros: Everything looks great! Handles Half-Life 2, Crysis, and any other game you throw at it with all the settings on high like it was nothing. Videos look a little sharper too.

Cons: None. This card seriously rocks for the price.

Other Thoughts: Barely fit in my computer, the thing is huge. I have a Dell Dimension 9100. I didn't have to wedge it in or anything, but you may want to keep the dimensions in mind.

Never had a Foxconn VGA before...

Pros: Any 9600 GT you get will be a great card. This one happened to be the cheapest when I was looking for an upgrade, and with a handful of favorable reviews I bought one. It comes with a VERY modest factory overclock, and I think there is room for much more.

I'm a sucker for presentation and with the exception of the box being incredibly shiny (to the point of hard to read) I was really impressed. The heatsink/fan assembly and cover look really slick, and simple. The box shows this off well by allowing you to lift the lid like a PC game.

Unlike the previous generation's midrange, this card is no slouch. Bioshock, Oblivion, TF2, you name it and it will look incredible at high settings.

Cons: The only con I can come up with is that the thermal paste on the GPU and at least one memory module is clearly visible, an unsightly blemish on an otherwise fantastic looking package.

Other Thoughts: I run a minimal amount of stuff in my system (2x1 GB ram, Athlon 64 x2 4200, single SATA hdd and PATA DVD+/-RW) with a 350w power supply. Throwing this card into the mix has not caused me any problems. Just make sure you get a supply from a reliable company with plenty of power to the rails!

Pros: The 9600GT is a great value. I've owned a couple $300+ cards and this has been the best upgrade from one graphics card to another. The price of performance has been going down at a steady rate. I remember my first programmable GPU was $340, the second was $230 and this one was $150. Quite impressive. Price seems to have dropped again. Crysis 1280x1024x32 Very High everything DX10 64-bit runs beautifully with a Core 2 Quad and 8GB of RAM. :-) I can thank Newegg for making the RAM and the GPU happen. Thanks Newegg!

Cons: The heatsink may not be enough in a small case. I haven't had any problems yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it failed after a couple years because of it. I haven't seen the temperature above 65 degrees C, but I do notice this card heats the metal backplates pretty warm. Good thing it is metal and not plastic.

The card is also physically longer than I expected. That can be a problem if your hard drives are in front of the card. Luckily, mine are positioned sideways above the card.

Other Thoughts: SliTechGuy seems to have had a problem I've had with eVGA cards in the past. The problem was NOT a vendor-specific problem. I still don't know exactly what happened, but the symptoms sound more like static discharge frying the RAMDAC or the components that drive the display. When this has happened to me, it appeared to boot, but the display was scrambled like the old cable channel video scrambling. It happens even to the best of us every once in a while. I was wearing an anti-static bracelet and I still fried 2 cards that way on two separate occassions with different hardware. The only thing common was the room I was in. Probably was too humid that day. I got good lives out of those two cards, one was a Ti 200 (stock) I got for $100 and the other was my 6800LE which I unlocked and overclocked to a 6800GTX, both eVGA. Hearing this now simply confirms it was not the vendor.

Great Card!

Pros: This card is amazing. Overclocked to 745/2100 without a problem. Highest temp i seen it get is 65 C. And that is with only one case fan. It is also very quite. plays Crysis on all high at about 35 fps. Cant do all very high since i dont have vista =/

Cons: It is pretty long. but other then that its a great card

Other Thoughts: cheap card that overclocks very well.

Here Comes the Boo!!! Ready or Not?

Pros: Slim design, card itself looks very nice. Nice Retail Packaging. Arrived on time as always thanks to newegg!

Cons: Just finished a gaming machine build for a client. Phenom Quad-Core CPU, 4GB DDR2, 1TB HDD... All ready to top it off with Xtreme 512MB PCI-E 2.0 x16 DirectX 10 Graphics and......... Reseated Card, Power Back On and........ This can't be happening!! Nothing but static, mangled text with lines all across my beautiful 19" Wide Screen LCD Test Monitor!!! Tried moving card over to test bed just to make sure with same result. I have bought a few Foxconn Motherboards in the past with no issues. Foxconn is New to the Graphics Card Arena... But even so, a little bit Reluctant, I decided to go ahead save a few bucks, and try out a Foxconn Video Card. Never again!!! I am very disappointed :( I say leave the GPU Manufacturing to the experts like eVGA, MSI or BFG! Now I have to go through the RMA process!! Wish I had spent a couple bucks more on a more reliable brand name! Oh well... Live and Learn!

Other Thoughts: I build computers for a living and do not have time to waste. I refuse to make my clients wait for an RMA, so I'll usually order a new one in the meantime while waiting for the RMA. If I try a new brand and it does not work the first time... I will never purchase that particular brand again!

Awesome.

Pros: best bang for your buck of any card i've seen so far. the quality of this card is outstanding, and it's pretty sleek and compact, not to mention pretty quiet (compared to other cards i've owned. so far it has run every game i've thrown at it at 50+ fps with maxed out settings (with the exception of crysis which with maxed out settings and no AA ran at 30+ fps at all times). Frontlines, Test Drive Unlimited, COD4, World in Conflict, you name it, this card will run it well.

Cons: absolutely none

Other Thoughts: when i bought this card i honestly wasn't expecting much but it's performance blew me away. it makes my radeon X1900XTX look like a kitty card. it's definately got the performance. i went from a 3dmark06 score of 5879 with my X1900XTX to a respectable 9668 with this card.
