Pros: Nice card for the money, didn't have to buy an additional GPU cooler from Zalman. Seems to be rock solid and runs cool.
Cons: N/A
Other Thoughts: Current Rebate makes this a steal
Pros: it came with Tomb Raider.....
Cons: Bought this card along with everything else for a custom PC, it ended up frying my motherboard and ruining the power supply I had. I wasted way to much time and money dealing with this issue trying to figure out what was ruining the MB.
Pros: HDMI, decent gaming performance. Great choice for a HTPC. Hard to beat at current price. Replaced an 8500GS..Vista experience went up from 4.6 to 5.9
Cons: Just the fan speed noise while OS loads.
Other Thoughts: Glad I bought it. Fast to arrive from Newegg. I have mine hookep up to a sharp 32 inch 1080p LCD via HDMI..looks incredible.
Pros:
Wow, when I bought this card a couple weeks ago, there were few reviews, now there are 80+.
At the current price, this card is an absolute steal, not to mention the rebate, which I missed by a week.
It has been rock solid for me. I haven't tried any games or benchmarks. I use it mainly for video editing, multimedia creation, and office apps.
Cons: It would be nice if they BIOS'd the fan to low speed during bootup, since it is pretty loud until the Windows drivers kick in. But that is a nit.
Other Thoughts: Sytem: Vista 64 Home Premium, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DQ6, G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 SDRAM, 3ware 9650SE-8LPML RAID Card, 3ware BBU-MODULE-03 Battery Backup Unit, Seagate ST3640323AS 7200.11 640GB Hard Drives (4 in RAID 5), PALiT NE/9600T+0152 GeForce 9600 GT 512MB
Pros:
Palit's 9600GT has HDMI, low price, and comes with a free tomb raider game. The fan is about as quite as your going to get from such a small fan.
The card can play everything at max settings and resolution on 1080P (30+ min FPS). The only game it can't play maxed out is Crysis (tolerable medium settings until towards the end 20-25FPS).
Cons:
The card has become unstable after 4 months of game play. Randomly started to crash in World in Conflict and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. Originally had it with an Athlon X2 4400+ and then put it in with a Intel E8500. The same artifacting and bsods happened. This will only occur when stressing the video card.
I have never been able to get the audio over S/PDIF working with 2 different motherboards. This is a disappointment considering every ATI card has audio over hdmi out of the box. The heatsink on the card doesn't touch the memory and makes them rather hot. Also almost no accessories come with the card (not even the S/PDIF cable).
Other Thoughts:
The card is a great buy if it doesn't become unstable. The game is pretty useless and could be dropped to either add more accessories or drop the price. I sent in the barcode for the 40 dollar rebate from palit and now newegg says they won't replace the card because they don't have the barcode.
With the closeness of the radeon 4850's to the 9600GT it doesn't make much sense to get another 9600GT.
Pros: HDMI/Low Cost/Easy Rebate/All plugins from compiz works flawless, connectivity to an old TV as well as new LCD. GRID works withno issues at all.
Cons: Yeah the fan is quite audible during starting, but once the drivers are loaded it becomes quieter than the proccy's fan.
Other Thoughts: Definitely recommended for the price and rebate.
Pros: PALiT, fairly new Nvidia GeForce manufacturer but Excellent Product! Well built, 512MB GDDR3, PCI-Express 2.0, Very Over-Clockable, DVI, HDTV, One of the few with a HDMI Port... Perfect for gaming and all your graphics needs! Fan & Heatsink design does very well with this card. High Performance, Low Cost... I highly recommend it!
Cons: It's not a 280 ;)
Other Thoughts: Offers many features at an affordable price! I built a machine for a customer a few months ago with this card installed. The customer is a avid gamer and graphics designer. He has expressed to me on many occasions that he is very satisfied with this card.

Pros: I've owned this card since a few months after its release all those years ago and I have to say, I've loved it every step of the way. I got on rebate + discount so I was very happy with the price. At first I was a little skeptical about it (having never heard of Palit) but after the first few months I was impressed. After about a year of ownership I upgraded its fan/heatsink and started overclocking. I hit it stable to 810/2400+ and easily beat out my dad's stock 8800GT at less then a quarter of the price. (And it ran cool too.)
This card is going up on my wall along side the Diamond X800GTO 256 as my two favorite graphics cards I've ever owned (out of about two dozen and various computers)
Cons: Zero. NONE. Not a even a whisper.
But because its age is finally catching up and I need to upgrade in order to play newer and newer games - sadly I must retire this great, great card.
