Pros: No problems with installation!

Cons: Be aware that it does not include an internal bridge! Made the mistake in assuming it came with a bridge adapter. So if you plan on running 2 cards in crossfire mode, look into ordering an internal bridge if you don't already have one.

Pros: This card is great. I have had zero issues with it since I installed it. Reading some of the other reviews on here you may be confused about the size of the card. This card is very short, but fairly wide. The shortness of the card allows for easier cable management. Installation was cake. Overclocking is easy. This will crush MMO's. FEAR, Fallout 3, WoW, UT 3, Bioshock etc... all play smoothly and beautifully with max settings.

Cons: I didn't buy a second card from the start.

Other Thoughts: I haven't bought a second card to try it out in crossfire yet. If there are any problems, I will write another review.

Pros: Big cooler and small size. Playing Left For Dead at all max settings 1368x768 and this card doesn't miss a beat! Idle temp is 35 and max during games is 49. Fan speed set for 45% but even at 100% it really is not that loud. Not sure about everyone else but I prefer to play my games with the sound VERY LOUD. I can't hear the fans running anyway

The small size of the card makes it easy to fit in my case and does not get in the way of routing cables for hard drives, etc. A HUGE plus for airflow and cramped space in today's systems.

Saving up for a second one now for Crossfire.

Cons: None with the card itself. Would have been nice to have the svideo to component dongle and dvi to hdmi converter included like with other cards. No crossfire cable but my mobo came with two so no biggie.

Other Thoughts: Main reason I bought Palit was the great customer support and presence on Newegg. Great customer support usually lends itself to great qualiy products. Keep up the good work Palit!

Pros: Bought this along with a Q6600 CPU, GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P mobo and 4 MB of G.SKILL DDR2-800 memory.

Very fast, been playing CoD 4 and World of Warcraft maxed out and it has stayed very cool. I chose this model specifically because it seems to have the best heatsink/fan of all the 4850 cards out there. So far it seems a wise decision.

Cons: It only came with instructions for Windows setup. There were no instructions in the box for hardware installation. Not a huge deal...I saw the power input and figured that out pretty quickly, but a novice builder might have been lost.

Also, the DVI to VGA/D-sub adapter was a NIGHTMARE to plug into the DVI input on the card...I had to angle it, wiggle it, and threaten it with harsh language to get it to fit without bending the pins. My display has both a VGA and a DVI input, so I just went and bought a DVI cable and it plugged in no problem.

Still gave 5-eggs because the card itself is so well designed. But the pack-ins (instructions/DVI-VGA adapter) need work.

Pros: i have a peak 4850 which is identical to this palit card and i hope i get the same manufacturer response as the other reviewers had, wel the card is not hot and runs most games on high

Cons: i think it´s loud and i cant oc it, i tried ati overdrive it did 665 core and 1030 mem.
i tried with the fan on normal and got bsod
i then did the fan at 100% and still got bsod.
when i do lower oc like 650 on core and memory no oc and fan 100% i still get bsod

Other Thoughts: well i hope there is some easy resolution to this

Pros: Great performance, MUCH quieter than my old Geforce 7800GS. Not sure what people are referring to when saying it's loud... Nice price

Pros: Fast.. Fast... Fast! Liked the first one so much i saved up to get the second for a crossfire rig. Lots of power to play modern games and games into the future.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: Great video card. Fast. runs stable.

Pros: Card has been running like a champ with F@H GPU going 24/7 overclocked to 675mhz on the core. I'm getting like 3300PPD.

I haven't gamed that much but TF2 and the CoD4 demo run maxed out at 1680x1050 like butter (no AA though, just Aniso).

I received my rebate as the Palit rep promised (I sacrificed the 3 dollars for quick shipment), and I love that he/she is active here.

Cons: honestly, none

Other Thoughts: This card is a great deal, especially if Palit brings back the rebate.
