Tyan packs two nodes system into a 1U rackmount chassis. Each node has their separate HDD bay and power supply. This barebone server is based on Intel's 5100 chipset, supports Intel Xeon 5200/5400 series processors, backed with 8 DIMM memory slots supporting up to 32GB of total memory. Dual nodes support 2 processors and 16 DIMM memory slots.
Each node has 4x2.5" hot swappable SATA drive bays. The integrated RAID controller supports levels 0, 1, 10 and 5. There is also a slim DVD drive installed into the server for program and data loads.
