Sea Sonic Electronics announces its launch of the S12II "Bronze" Series - the updated version of the award-winning S12II Series - to meet the growing demand for highly efficient and competitively-priced power supplies.
The S12II Bronze Series achieves the 80 PLUS® Bronze standard of at least 82%, 85% and 82% power usage efficiency at 20%, 50% and 100% operating loads respectively. This, combined with Active Power Factor Correction, enables the S12II Bronze to reduce energy waste, boost power efficiency, and more importantly, reduce the energy costs for the users.
In addition to the efficiency upgrade, the S12II Bronze Series maintains the strong foundations of the S12II series. Important features such as the stable and proven Double Forward Converter circuit design, the industry-leading Smart and Silent Fan Control (S2FC) and the use of high-reliability Japanese brand capacitors, are all carried forward to the "Bronze" Series.
The S12II Bronze Series, similar to its predecessors, is available in the standard ATX Form Factor and in wattages that are most common for a PC system. In addition to the all-in-one cabling design, the 520W and 620W models come with additional EPS connectors for IPC and server systems and supports both 6P and 8P PCI-E connectors for the most current and high end dual graphic cards.

Pros: very high quality with plenty of power for 75% of the computers out there. Will run mid level cards in Crossfire or SLI.
Cons: its a mid level PSU
Other Thoughts: I got this for my shops tech comp because the one in it bit the dust. This computer is running 24/7 doing data transfers online and in my computer shop. The durability of Seasonic PSU's is second to none and I only have praise for them. The fact I own a computer repair shop and chose this for my shops tech comp should tell you all you need to know, BUY IT!!!
Pros: Its a seasonic which if you didnt know is a quality brand. i wont waste my money on cheap junk but this one also fit the application and stayed affordable. It does what a power supply should do, and the cords are all nice, also its very silent.
Cons: none other than i wish it was all modular. but that would make the price higher.
Other Thoughts: It replaced my Antec 1200 after a harsh lightning strike and i dont really see or feel any difference.
Pros: realy quiet ... nice price and have the power!
Cons: nothing
Pros:
quiet
powerful
lots of connections
Cons: only lasted 1 1/2 years
Pros:
I purchased this to replace the power supply in my Dell XPS 8100. It fit perfectly, and It solved these problems: p.c. would not start unless I disconnected and then reconnected the power cord; problems with file searching in Windows 7 which required explorer restart; problems with Firefox freezing; and a problem with my dual Sceptre monitor blanking to a green screen . Now, no problems, and this power supply is very quiet.
I purchased the 620 w. power supply. It meets the power needs of my graphics card and the three 3 Tb hard drives I have in my machine.
Cons: I found no cons - so far.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this product. It is very well built
Pros: It's 620w and cheap.
Cons: 4 pin power connectors are cheapo garbage, the pins move around and made it very difficult to even get em pluged in. Ketchup and mustard cables clearly show even though they are sleeved.
Other Thoughts: At this price it's hard to nitpick, but this is a Seasonic, one of the best PS manufacturers. Those 4 pin connectors almost made me do a return. K&M cables on any power supply is hideous, if your gunna sleeve them, do it all the way to the connector. Otherwise it appears well built and stout.
Pros: Power supply is hefty and cables are of good quality, fan noise is minimal.
Cons: I have already rma'd this psu twice, both had the same problem of shutting off randomly while idle with gpu's that required both of the 6 pin connectors. I then received a refurb one on the 2nd rma, which alas, after 1 month does a cold shutoff and restart while gaming with a single 6 pin gpu. At this point, paying for shipping, again, on a psu that has failed 3 times now doesn't hold my interest much. Bad power supply from a reputable company, it's unfortunate as I had expected better. I will avoid all budget seasonic offerings from now on. Psu was purchased February 2017, first problems occurred after 3 months, second psu had issues immediately, 3rd psu had issues after 3 weeks. I only have an old rocketfish psu to switch too, but at least that has never failed in the past 5 years.
Other Thoughts: Since the power supply is heavy, shipping costs a bit more. Perhaps test the power supplies before they leave for rma?

Pros: the Seasonic S12II 620w (SS-620GB) power supply has been working well and is relatively quiet on my custom built computer with a Gigabyte Socket AM3+ motherboard.
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: I recommend this Seasonic PSU for those who have not bought one
