The Orthus 2U redundant power supply is a powerful tool for system integrators, engineers, and project managers working in the IPC field.  This power supply is the first of its kind offering 660 Watts of power and an 80PLUS certification.  With additional features such as the PMBus, Active PFC, and easy access security lock the Orthus series stands to be one of the most reliable and powerful 2U redundant today.  Its size was designed to be incorporated into 2U rackmounts and above and offers enough lead connectors for any high grade servers being built.  The Orthus series offers 3 different types of power depending on your system needs, the 660, 760, and 860 all a first for the IPC market.

  • newegg PMBus The PMBus (Power Management Bus) feature is a built in component within the Orthus that allows the system user or IT technician to monitor the status of the power supply through a GUI. The PMBus feature is highly versatile and can translate and communicate information between devices based on both analog and digital technologies. (Only compatible motherboards are able to access the PMBus Feature or with installation of a PMBus adaptor.)
  • newegg Active PFC The Active PFC (Power Factor Correction) and Full Range Input function provides a smarter PSU. Able to detect the differences of wattage that is needed to power up your system you can be rest assured as it will provide and maintain the most suitable power needed for your system.
  • newegg 80PLUS Saving energy has become an important factor when choosing the correct power supply and what shows more efficiency than having an 80PLUS Bronze Certification. The Orthus 660 Watt is one of the latest 2U PSUs that brandishes this certification. Providing efficiency during max and low loads this PSU lives up to the standards of today’s world.
  • newegg Easy Access Security Lock The Orthus series offers a security feature to secure your modules to your 2U housing. The twist knobs located on the top right corner of each respective module helps secure each module tightly into the housing on the 2U redundant, this features helps system builders and IT technicians feel a sense of assurance from any accidents or modules sliding out of housing.
