Pros: built a strong machine with an Nvidia e-GeForce 9600 GT (pci express 2.0). No overclocking, i like to keep things simple. with just 2GB ram, this processor, and the nvidia card, i am able to run Call of Duty4 at full detail, full resolution, etc. Machine is also used for a lot of heavy 3d modeling and rendering. Runs Solidworks, 3d studio max, and alias pretty well.
Cons: None. Like i said, i keep things simple. No overclocking.
Other Thoughts: Its a processor and it works.
Pros: Great Little CPU, wish I could have gotten a Quad Core, but when I bought this, at launch, a Q6600 was a lot more $$$. Idles at 37 Celsius and loads around 40 (4 hours of COD 4)
Cons: None really, mine won't OC without a BSOD.
Other Thoughts: System as Follows- E7200, Palit Sonic 8800gt w/ 1 gig of memory, Six gigs of Patriot Viper, EP 35 DS3l, Seagate Barracuda 750, Pinnacle PCTV HD Tuner, Vista Ultimate x64
Pros: Without even a voltage change, mine will do 3.16 GHz as if it were rated to do so. It barely even affects the temperature under load (52 deg C at most). I haven't pushed it further simply because I don't want to kill it prematurely.
Cons: Stock heat sink is utterly garbage. Toss it if you plan to overclock and use something better.
Other Thoughts: I used the stock heatsink that was on my Q6600 which is twice as tall and has a copper base. Not the best, but it's adequate for the E7200.
Pros: Works like a charm.
Cons: none
Pros: VERY fast and can OC very well. I have this thing running at 4.0Ghz on air with 422Mhzx9.5 at 1.48V. I am running an idle temp of 40 and max load BARELY hits 60.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts:
My pc
Proc: e7200 at 4.0Ghz
cooler: Ninja scyth 2
RAM: 4 gigs gskil ram
Video: Palit HD 4850 (soon to add an hd 4870)
HDD: 750Gigs of HD space
I highly recommend this processor to anyone looking for a good dual core cpu. I will most likely get water cooling and push this proc to the max and see what it will do :)
Pros:
~9.5x multiplier
~easy to OC (overclock)
-set fsb to 333 and its the same as a e8500 except $50+ cheaper
-temps below 55 at full load on prime 95 for 10+ hours ON STOCK COOLER @ 300 fsb (2.85ghz)
~uses very little VCore(volatge) increase needed
~dual core
~runs CoD 4 @ about 90fps all high setting
~only $120 with free shipping
Cons: if you don't want to OC it may not be the best if you want a gaming computer you could just get the e7300 for same price just OC'd a little, however, this still handles all tasks very nicely
Other Thoughts:
~great if you want to OC (known to be stable at 4ghz) its great even with stock cooler
~probably look towards getting the e7300 if your not planning to OC
MB: ECS P45T-A
CPU: e7200 @ 2.85ghz
HDD: HITACHI Deskstar 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA
VGA: eVGA 9600 GSO dual slot @ 1000mhz mem clock (^soon to be sli^)
PS: Antec EA650 650W ATX12V
MEM: 4gb DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
all in an antec 900 super cold case
Pros: Good for the money. Runs cool.
Cons: Priced same as faster model. (E7300).
Other Thoughts: Good for HTPC, kids computers and light gaming boxes.

Pros: Solid power / performance / price ratios.
Very reliable in service.
Powerful enough to play some light games, and useful work still in 2014.
Cons: No hardware VM support.
Other Thoughts: The only sad thing was, the lack of hardware support for Virtual Machines. It can run a lot but for Virtual Machines, but it really shows its limits. Reliable and can still play a lot of games well enough with a good graphics card. Plan to keep the computer I built around for a while longer as a spare.
