Can the RAM be upgraded? I was thinking of buying the N5000 version and wanted to run an older version of Photoshop on it for Jpegs only - RAW can wait till I get home.

Unfortunately no. It’s a nice little machine otherwise, once the storage is upgraded to a reasonable ssd. But the 4gb ram is soldered in, with no possible expansion. Which in 2019 means a machine that’s quite usable but requires one to keep an eye on their resources a little too closely.

how much RAM does this computer have enough to run leauge of legends?

This computer has 4GB of RAM, which meets the minimum RAM outlined on Riot's support page for League.

However, the CPU is not powerful enough. Riot says the minimum speed should be 2GHz, and this computer's N4200 is only 1.1GHz.

In addition, I would say the graphics processor is probably not fast enough for this type of game.

This computer is built for browsing the web and streaming video (hence the low price).

Won't have internet often so does this computer play movies using a USB flash drive?

Yes, the laptop has 3 USB ports, so you'll have no problem playing movies off a USB Stick. Only issues that may arise are the need for software/codecs, but win 10 comes with decent stuff, and plenty more are free to download online.

You can upgrade to a proper SSD (an M.2 sata) but you can't upgrade the ram.

What color was the power cord they sent you?. The one I received was white, not the original at all. And it didn't plug in snugly. Also the chassis isn't snug either. I can tell it's been opened and not put together solidly. Not sure if I trust this refurb vendor to get a replacement. It shipped from a third party vendor.

I received an actual black Acer branded AC adapter on both laptops I ordered.  If you received a janky non-Acer AC adapter, definitely send it in for a swap.
