Pros: probably great and quiet, but does not fit my card, although they say it should work
Cons: does not fit XFX 6800 Xtreme (XT ?)

Other Thoughts: Like others have already said... put the longer screws from the bottom up to the top.
Pros: I have a Geforce 8600gt, with stock fan it ran 55c at a idle and 61c at hard gaming. NOW with this fan it runs 45c at idle and 54c hard gaming! im happy :)
Cons: instructions is just a parts list really. like everyone else says, long screws come up from the bottom not top.
Other Thoughts: I like the little heat sinks that come with it too
Pros: Much quieter than the stock cooling on my NVidia 8600GTS card, also open design is not a dust collector. My GPU is running at a cool 45°C. Definately a great value in this price range.
Cons: Installation instructions are not clear. Diagram incorrectly shows long screws going down from the top. The long screws need to go up from the bottom. Took me about 15 minutes to figure that out. The unit was also very noisy the first time I installed it because I had over tightened the long screws. I took the unit apart and re-installed it with less torque on the long screws, and the unit is quiet and works great now.
Pros: Works way better than the stock fan I had on my 7800 gtx (keeps the GPU around 10% cooler than stock fan on silent mode, wouldn't be surprised if it did up to 20% on max power). Since I got this thing to keep the noise down in my comp (the old fan was loud and obnoxious), it gets 5 stars for doing what it was supposed to. I didn't even have any clearance issues.
Cons: I haven't had a single problem with it... yet.
Other Thoughts: Note that, at least for the way I have the cooler hooked up right now, it draws power from one of the IDE power connectors and not from the card (the card only had 12v and I wanted 5v operation).
Pros: Great fan, runs completely silently.
Cons: Did not notice any difference in gpu temps, maybe a degree or two.

I bought this fan because I have and XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX edition, which is very loud. I replaced the fan with this and my pc runs silently.
I bought this fan to get rid of the loud noise of the stock card fan, not too cool down my gpu. I have an antec 900 case and have enough cooling for the system.
If you want to have a silent gpu then buy this fan. If you rather want lower temps, this fan won't deliver completely.
Pros: easy install on my xfx geforce 8600 gt xxx, took about 20 minutes. was idling at 58c, when playing crysis, anywhere between 75-80c. this cooler dropped idle to 45c, and 60c playing crysis @ 1440x900, medium settings for an hour.
Cons: if you've read other reviews for this cooler, you know about the somewhat backwards directions. just remember, long screws come up/through the bottom of video card. the fan speed controller knob broke fairly easily.
Other Thoughts: very happy with this cooler, also it is very quiet

Pros: nearly silent, exactly what I needed. fits nicely on my XFX 8600GT. saved my marriage (she said "either that screaming loud video card fan goes, or I go"). comes with a fan speed controller, nice touch.
Cons: no real instructions, its basically a parts list. Mine came with a template to fit over the GPU, which wasn't described in the "parts list". I installed it anyway. I'd consider this difficult to install.
Other Thoughts: Large screws come up from the bottom. You need 3 hands to hold the pieces together while you screw it on. Comes with a fan controller, but I plugged into a spare mobo fan connector (it needs to go on a 3 pin connector, I couldn't get it on the 2 pin connector on video card). Speedfan doesn't see the fan to control it, unfortunately, so I'll probably install the included speed controller next time I open the case. I'm running at 48 idle, when it was 42 before. But it's really quiet. I can use my PC to watch movies now. I almost took off an egg for the lack of clear directions. As I'm an Engineer, I was able to sit down and think it through before messing up the video card or the copper heat sink fins, which are delicate. But it does exactly what I needed (quiet video cooling) so I'm giving it 5 eggs. Now I know I can go SLI without my pc sounding like a 747. I'll definately install one on my next video card.
