SIIG’s FireWire 3-Port PCMCIA card allows you to instantly add three FireWire 400 (1394a) ports to your PCMCIA-enabled desktop or notebook computer. The FireWire 3-Port card delivers serial bus data transfer rates of up to 400Mbps, supports both asynchronous and isochronous data transfer modes, and allows you to hot-swap devices (connect and disconnect) without first turning your system off. It works with a variety of FireWire 400 (1394a) devices such as DV camcorders, CD-RW/DVD-ROMs, portable hard disk drives, digital cameras, and other audio/video devices.

The FireWire 3-Port PCMCIA card is powered by TI TSB43AB23 chip and fully supports IEEE 1394-1995, P1394a-2000, OHCI 1.1 standards, and is RoHS compliant. This card is also fully compatible with a wide variety of windows systems.
