Defective board, shoddy company 01/07/2008
This review is from: EVGA 122-CK-NF66-T1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard
Would be inexpensive if it worked properly
I first purchased this board about two months ago and immediately had issues with it - windows wouldn't detect the network connection and 2 of the RAM slots wouldn't work. I tried to troubleshoot the problem with EVGA who seemed unfamiliar with the product. A few days later, the board died completely, so I replaced it with newegg. The replacement board is having the same defect. So I emailed Mr. Parra at EVGA who offered to replace the board at EVGA's expense with the 680i. This was approximately 3 weeks ago. Despite repeated emails and even phone calls, EVGA has not yet honored their offer.
I purchased this board because I heard good things about EVGA's products and customer service. Unfortunately my experience with EVGA was that they do not live up to their reputation. It is very unlikely that I will ever buy another EVGA product again, and do not recommend this company.
