Overpriced Simple Mouse 05/15/2008
This review is from: APPLE - Mighty Mouse
-Plug and play on Windows Vista64.
-Scroll dot comfortable to use especially in art programs.
-Right click difficult unless you push on the very side of the mouse.
-Side click buttons can only be programmed for one option and are incredibly difficult to push.
-Short cord (I get this is because it's designed to be plugged into a keyboard with USB ports, but it's still a con to me).
-Does extremely basic functions for the price. Nothing really special aside from the scroll dot.
I am currently borrowing this mouse (as a temporary replacement to tide me over until I find a mouse I like for my new desktop) from a friend who, unlike me, is a huge Mac supporter, but even she does not use this mouse. It has been sitting unused on her desk since it was bought months ago.
I appreciate having a mouse to use so I can find one I like and not waste money on one just because I need one, but this thing is uncomfortable to use with Windows because of the difficulty with right clicking. I'm sure it works perfectly fine with an Apple product, but I would not recommend this if you want it for a PC.
