This review is from: BIOSTAR TForce TF720 A2+ AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 720a ATX AMD Motherboard
As I stated previously, easy setup, great features for o/c, etc.....
This morning I woke up to find that the system was flashing the LED on the board to indicate a memory problem. Took the memory out and replaced it one piece at a time. All the DIMMS were fine, but the B1 & B2 DIMM slots were no longer working. I could use any of the ram in channel A but no memory of any speed would work in the B channel. Loaded the system up with A1 & A2 just fine, but who wants a board that won't work in dual channel after only a week?
And I was so impressed with this board for the cost at first......Don't know if this is what caused the failure or not but the NB heatsink was so hot when I touched it I thought it had burned a blister on my finger. (Not quite, but EXTREMELY HOT nonetheless.) Waiting on RMA now...hopefully better luck with the replacement....I'll repost after the new board has been installed and running for over a month. (Recommend blowing some type of fan on the NB heatsink of this board for sure.)
