No video acceleration 10/08/2009
Silent operation and enables gaming provided resolution and quality aren't highly elevated. Onboard eight-channel HD sound.
Expensive and accelerates neither SD nor HD video, in both XP and Vista. In fact, video playback in Vista, PowerDVD, TMT 3, and WMP displays a blank green screen.
In Vista, driver BSODs on bootup if onboard "Intel Extreme" graphics hardware is not disabled.
ATI says their driver will not accelerate video over PCI bus, and advised me to use a PCIe version. But where does that leave the millions of machines, especially Dells, that lack PCIe or AGP slots?
Those seeking video playback on such machines can instead use nVidia-based PCI cards like the Sparkle 8400GS sold here.
Dear HIS Customer,
Thank your for your purchase and your valuable feedback.
Please kindly notice that ATI driver does not officially support hardware acceleration over 4350 PCI bus. However, you can still enable the Avivo Video Functions by using a third-party software called DXVAChecker. Details procedure can be found in this link:
Method to enable Avivo Video Functions for some ATI cards.
Please note that the above setting are not 100% guaranteed to be correct and working well under all circumstances.
I hope the information will be useful to you. Please feel free to contact us again if you have further questions.
Again, thank you for support on HIS products.
