Too Small for Windows 7 12/31/2010
This review is from: Intel X25-E SSDSA2SH032G1 2.5" 32GB SATA II SLC Enterprise Solid State Disk
You already know....
Due to Windows winsxs file duplication within the OS, you will not have ANY room on this drive after 1 or 2 years.
The 'basic' OS load and normal day-2-day applications are too much for a 32GB drive on Windows 7.
All user-data, all VM's, Office, large program-installs, games, files, media, music etc is NOT on the OS drive. It is all loaded on a 2tb (4x500gb raid 0) 'drive'.
Even with these changes/modifications to the standard operation(s) of Windows, 32(29)GB is just too small. Plan on getting 2, or going for the 64GB unless you plan on frequent re-imaging.
