Doesn't work with Win7 x64 with OVER 4gb ram 01/31/2011
This review is from: Rosewill RNX-G300EX Wireless Card IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Up to 54Mbps Data Rates 64/128bit WEP WPA WPA2 802.1x, 802.11i, AES, TKIP with 100cm cable external 2 dBi Antenna
Pros:
Works decently, does what it's supposed to do, but NOT on Windows 7 64 bit when u have more than 4 gigs of ram. Detachable antenna useful since most PCs are under the desk where there isn't as much signal.
Cons:
Doesn't work with windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with more than 4 GB of ram installed! I tried a bunch of different drivers, and none worked. The device would show up, but stay disabled in Windows, and I couldn't manually enable it either. So now I'm using it in a different pc.
Overall Review:
If you google the chipset, which is a Ralink RT61, you'll find that it does indeed have conflicts with Win7 64-bit machines with more RAM.
