Great CPU 02/10/2011
This review is from: AMD Phenom II X6 1075T - Phenom II X6 Thuban 6-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM3 125W Desktop Processor - HDT75TFBGRBOX
Pros:
Very good CPU. I've yet to see it hit anywhere close to 100%. It's hard to find ways! I've played Crysis, watched an HD youtube video, and played a DVD, all at the same time. No hiccups and not anywhere close to touching the ceiling of this processor.
This CPU stays cool as I've never broken 49 Celsius even with stock cooling. Boot up is lightning fast!
Cons:
Make sure you pair this thing with a good graphics card and good memory, otherwise you will hit bottlenecks and start thinking the CPU sucks. It doesn't, so if you're experiencing hiccups, then something is bottlenecking your system. Fix that.
Overall Review:
Haven't tried overclocking yet, mainly because I want to get a different cooler first. I don't want to risk messing this bad boy up, and quite frankly, I haven't found a need to overclock. This CPU is great how it is.
