Best pocket flashlight 07/28/2011
This review is from: Fenix LD01 R5 Limited Edition Stainless Stee Flashlight w/ Cree XP-G (R5) LED 77 Lumens
Pros:
Tiny - fits into any pocket
Bright - you can do any work where you need a flashlight
Uses standard AAA batteries - no waiting for charging.
Cons:
rarely it will come on in my pocket and drain the battery but I probably should be twisting it farther off.
Overall Review:
This (or the black version) is one of my indispensable tools that I am never without.
There are brighter lights, but they are bigger and this one is more than adequate, and the bigger ones end up in my toolbox where I won't bother to go get them when I have this at the ready.
It is a bit more expensive than others, but it is well worth the price. You will have it for years and use it constantly. Other "pocket" flashlights would either drain the tiny batteries too fast, or get cracked and broken (when I needed them), or weren't that bright.
