A True workhouse 01/11/2012
16:10 1920x1200 with beautiful color reproduction.
Makes the Samsung TN panel monitor it replaced look pale.
Lots of input choices, almost too many.
Base is solid and stable and the whole unit has a solid, Pro grade feel.
Display brightness and color is even side to side, unlike the Dell U2412.
Runs HOT. Rated draw at 75 watts, and I believe that is accurate.
When calibrated the panel is Bright! Great for normal viewing but eye-searing first thing in the morning.
Side controls are too sensitive. I’ve bumped the power button too many times to count.
Price, but you truly get what you pay for.
I’ve owned this for two years now and have been completely satisfied. This gets used between 4 and 14 hours a day, 7 days a week. I was worried since some IPS panels are poor choices for text, but the U2410 has always seemed sharp even on small text and I haven’t suffered any eyestrain. It is still about the best monitor for the $ today.
