A touch faster than 10600 at a competitive price. Windows Experience rated it same as the 4GByte OCZ DDR3 I replaced. Was very happy with G.Skill DDR2 memory in my previous laptop. Ordered it Monday afternoon, it arrived before dinner on Tuesday with free shipping.
Laptop has 4 memory slots, had 4x 4 GB SODIMMs of fast memory. My primary analysis app exhausted the 16 GByte with large network capture datasets, really slowed down when it had to start paging. The app operates with all data in memory, so memory speed is the bottleneck in my work.
When prices came within reach bought two G.Skill 16 GByte kits. Didn't give up any performance, haven't yet used up all 32 GBytes. Did notice that Windows 7 x64 has slightly increased its kernel memory allocation, expect that will make things even faster.
