This review is from: Logitech MK550 2.4Ghz Wireless Wave Keyboard and Mouse Combo - Black
Responsive keys that provide good feedback. Incredibly comfortable to work with. Great range.
The two additional thumb buttons come in handy for gaming, photo editing, web browsing, etc.
The receiver saves your settings when changing operating systems.
Poor software for windows. No keyboard software for mac. Keys are improperly mapped for Mac OS. I need to use another program to correct mapping errors while working with the mac OS (for example, the home and end keys will take you to the very first/last lines of a document instead of the first and last chars of a line.) Also the silver keys don't even register with the Mac OS.
The keyboard takes up a considerable amount of desktop real estate. It's one of the widest keyboards I've ever used. If you're looking for a keyboard to pickup and move around the room I would recommend a different keyboard.
Aside from the software these are actually really nice keyboard/mouse combos. I have two sets, one for the mac, and one for my gaming rig. The keys are nice and crisp and you can tell when you missed a stroke. On both systems I have to say, the silver keys and the fn hotkeys are useless. A more compact, streamlined model would be great!
In case you're wondering about battery life, I purchased these in December 2011. I just replaced the batteries in the mice and the keyboards are still going strong.
