This review is from: Sony PS Vita 32GB Memory Card
Space. Current maximum size produced by Sony.
Quality. Never had corrupt data in 3 months' use.
"Price reduced." Now costs a chunk less than the launch price.
Still quite expensive in comparison to other types of flash memory.
Proprietary Vita storage, unusable for any other purpose.
I originally obtained this item at its' MSRP of a hundred bucks plus tax due to purchasing locally.
After having the 8GB card for a couple weeks, I decided I couldn't stand having to shuffle things around to maintain my storage space.
I also discovered that I prefer buying games off PSN over collecting multiple game cards for my Vita. Most of all, due to the beauty of the Vita screen, I wanted to have space to keep a small video collection on my Vita for long train and bus rides.
On the PSP I had already purchased a lot of PSone Classic (RPG's) and they will take up a lot of space once support's added.
I knew about the cons before my purchase, but I don't regret paying ~$110 back in April.
For what it's worth, I consider the high price of proprietary memory to be a piece of insurance that developers will continue to produce quality games for the Vita. I'm paying more without gripes because I want to get more for the years down the road.
