Drive arrived DOA. Had to have it RMA'd
We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with the Western Digital 2 TB Black Desktop Drive, as this is not the typical experience with the product. It is unfortunate that you have experienced a DOA drive failure, however let us assure you that our drives are rigorously tested to ensure that they are in good working condition before they leave our warehouse. There are many variables that affect the drives integrity between leaving our warehouses and reading/writing to an installed computer. We recommend downloading, installing and running our Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Windows (WinDLG) utility for Windows users, or running Disk Utility for Mac users.
