DO you want the Best? 11/29/2012
Do you want the best reference graphics card currently on the market. Then follow these directions:
1. Stop reading reviews
2. Click add to cart
3. Buy, and if you don't select faster shipping then you will probably regret it. 3 days is an eternity when your waiting on one of these to show up.
But on a more serious note, if you have an up to date PC (decent quad core processor preferably 3+ GHz, minimum 4 GB RAM) then this card will blow you away. I can currently play every game on the market at 1920 x 1080 on highest possible graphics at a consistent 60+ fps.
reliable (and if there is any issue, then you get to deal with some of the best customer service in the market, EVGA will solve any issues you may have with extreme professionalism)
BF3 - Even on the new armored warfare maps I still have yet to see FPS below 60 on 64 man servers.
SC2 - Have you ever wanted to play an 8 player FFA and laugh as your FPS was consistently over 150?
Skyrim - I have installed so many gfx enhancement mods, even the ones that increase view distance. Still haven't dropped below 60 fps.
The list could go on, but those are probably the top 3 most played PC games right now (That can stress gfx).
Price, but some things are just worth the price. If you want to play pc games and be able to max out settings, then the price tag is absolutely worth it.
EVGA's provided precision X software is the best overclocking software I have used.
