Compare to Small Business Router from Cisco (SBRC), this router is awesome. The router is very simple to configure. In matter of minutes I got it setup to do basic routing for multiple subnets and DMZ zone. The web interface is simple and very responsive compare to SBRC. Allows you to define a DMZ zone -- defined as a subnet rater than a single IP. You may configure a different DHCP server for the LAN and the DMZ. It support NATing for multiple subnets. The Virtual Server (port forwarding) is simple to define and configure. The VPN IPSec LAN-to-LAN is working properly (when you follow the instruction in the FAQ). I'm in progress to setup PPTP LAN-to-LAN and LAN-to-Client.

The router has many features. For those stated in the datasheet, it lack fine control over the provided features. To name a few. It's not possible to control the authentication protocol used for PPTP VPN. You are only able to enable or disable encryption! Wow! You can't add a second user nor create a readonly user to access the web interface (for monitoring purpose). It has bandwidth control but only IP-based. So forget about shaping the traffic to limit P2P over your network. You may allow it or disable it all together. The bandwidth control doesn't allow you to set an IP range. You must define each single IP. So you can't guarantee bandwith for a single subnet. In practice, the bandwith control feature is completely useless.

Other Thoughts:

I open support ticket with TP-Link, if they fix the missing features I may bought this router again. Otherwise, I will most likely go with a different brand.
