550ti Fermi Review Update 12/19/2012
My card was bought new, not refurbished... It went from 4 eggs to 5 eggs. After using it for about a year or so and adjusting settings and a bit more tweeking the performance has greatly improved. Video card went from 60 fps up to a whopping 500 fps! (max)
Gaming performance is exellent on mid to high settings (depending on game played).
Gets a bit hot 60 to 65 deg C, which also causes my CPU temps to rise a bit (up to 45 deg C, when gaming). Nothing to worry about though as these temps are normal. After alot of use it seems to have gotten a bit louder though, but that is not really problem for me.
I still say that if you are an extreme gamer I would go with a higher end card (560 or better). But this video card works great for me. Very happy with it.
