wrong ram 02/13/2013
cool looking ram and love the lights......."ooooohhhh purty"
got the ram and installed it, there was something wrong with the ram from the beginning. i added it to the 8gb 2x4 gb's i already had. and it realy slowed my pc down and kept lagging it out. pulled my other ram out to just try this one stick by it's self, and pc wouldn't even boot into windows no matter what i did with the single stick of ram. so also playing around with my settings, i noticed the ram was labeled wrong. package and sticker on the ram says it's 1600 ram. but in my bio's and cpu-z it says it's 1333 ram. tried over clocking the ram to work at 1600, and it makes my pc turn on but won't allow no video to post. needless to say. the 2 months i have had this ram it has been out of my pc more then in my pc. i do not recomend this ram. 2 months and the ram has never ran right. by it's self or with other ram. wich i have tried to run it with a couple different memory dual channel ram. ran it 1st with g-skill sniper 1333 2x4, then with a generic brand of 1600 2x4 ram, and made my pc run bad either way i had it configured, and couldn't even run my pc by it's self.
