Great RAM, can only run 1600Mhz 03/10/2013
good looks, runs cool, no problems.
I can't get this ram to run at 1866 with my MSI Z77A-G45 and I5-3570K, but I don't know if it is. My control center shows it running 1600. In my BIOS it shows it running at 1866, but not in the OS...
Simple install, no problems. Make sure you check your mobo's compatible memory before you buy any RAM. I'm going to go back to my bios and see if I can sort this out.
Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear you like the look of the RAM and it is running cool without any problems in your system. We can surely help you achieve DDR3-1866; the high speed memory is compatible with your motherboard and CPU. The memory kit is much above standard, so it is not as simple as plug and play. With RAM above standard, it is necessary to manually input settings in BIOS/EFI, or enable the enhanced performance profile. All DDR3 motherboard can only default up to DDR3-1600 CL11 1.50V. If BIOS shows DDR3-1866, make sure to look in the memory tab of CPU-Z, not the SPD tab. The SPD tab shows standard values, not actualy values the memory is operating at. For all further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us directly. We can double check and make sure the memory is operating at maximum performance.
Quality and customer service are our top priorities.
