Great Cards Require Lengthy Reviews - Update 03/14/2013
This review is from: PowerColor AX7950 3GBD5-2DHV4 Radeon HD 7950 Boost State 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
Pros:
Overclocked to 1075/1425 and I feel comfortably there with temps and everything. The card has held up very well since I have had it and Powercolor even offers a 2-year warranty if anything goes wrong.
-Temps are very decent (AS LONG AS YOU HAVE PROPER AIRFLOW)
-Speeds are amazing on stock fan and stock voltage
-Very good for any game you throw at it and handling overclocking
Cons:
None
Overall Review:
Individuals in previous reviews are complaining about the direction of the card and thus have clearly never installed or seen a GPU before. All GPUs on an ATX MOBO will have the fans facing down, they are never different. If installed in a case they will always face down. I have mine in a mid-tower Cooler Master Elite 420 and have no issues keeping the temps under 70c, in fact I am running Crysis 3 at 5040x900 (eyefinity for those that don't know) overclocked to 1075/1425 and my temp is currently 65c. That is not high for a GPU handling all the processing of demanding games. This is a great card and Powercolor has an excellent staff.
