Speaker Phone Echo...Echo...Echo 07/31/2013
This review is from: snom 2346 821 IP Phone
It's got a gig ethernet that supports VLAN
The Wiki is hands down the most informative that I've seen in a VoIP phone
Headset is very inexpensive and just works
Provisioning the phone with FreePBX endpoint management is a breeze
It just looks nice
HD voice is almost erie clear
The speaker phone on this model is basically unusable which is the only reason I give it such a low rating. I've been working with SNOM to no result. Essentially if you use HD voice your going to get an echo.....and let's face it if you don't need that then you could go with any other cheaper model.
They sent out a 3rd party engineer and he confirmed my findings. Not sure if it's a physical case issue or a firmware echo cancellation problem but it's a problem. I would look at another phone in the future.
