video didnt work 09/11/2013
This review is from: ASRock Z77 Extreme3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
worked well when using integrated graphics
doesnt work at all with an added on graphics card.
When i first got this i was extremely excited, as it it was part of my first pc build. After building it, i found that it would not allow video to be outputed to the moniter with a video card attached. take it out, use the integrated graphics, and it worked fine.
so i sent my graphics card, (hd 7850) in for an RMA, for some reason got a 7970 back in the mail 2 weeks later( i aint complaining on that front) and found that it didn't work either with the baord. I then went on a broken part hunt, took the whole computer to my friend's house, and tested every single part by taking it out of mine and putting it into his setup, the graphics card worked, the ram worked, the psu worked, so all that was left was the bloody motherboard, which once again, failed to allow the gpu to output video to the moniter, im tired of it. screw it, im gettting a different board
