Don't buy this card 11/24/2013
This review is from: Galaxy 78XNH5DV8PXV G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 HOF 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card - Retail
Pros:
This card is fast until it stops working.
Cons:
I purchased this card back in September. It died on 11/22/13. Galaxy made it a bit of a hassle to RMA it. I have since found a large following of people online who have this card and it has stopped working suddenly. It has actually caught fire for some as well. When my replaced HOF shows up I intend to sell it. It isn't going anywhere near my computer. It is also worth noting to that there was a review posted on newegg for this card saying that the catching fire, uncerclocking, and just plain dieing have been fixed by galaxy with a special BIOS that you just have to call them up and they will send to you. I see the review has since been deleted by newegg probably. I'm guessing it was Galaxy trying to be sneaky and trick some people. This "special" bios that can be obtained by a phone call isn't available on their site. Galaxy hasn't been willing to address the issue with this card. If they did it would be on their site and also as a news posting on the hardware tech sites as well. Not through special telephone calls.
