Board worked great for a while.... 11/29/2013
4 RAM slots
2 PCIe slots
full ATX board
The primary PCIe slot died after about a year of very light use (this was mainly used as a fileshare/secondary desktop)
I bought an HD Radeon 7970 to put into the primary PCI slot (a year after installing the motherboard) and it worked for a day. Who knows how long the slot was bad really.
It's unfortunate, as this board is a great deal for what it is. I will have to replace it with an AsRock or ASUS in the future if I ever want to expand my options. (and in that respect I will lose my hardware RAID) Never again Biostar....
Sorry to hear of your troubles, you can RMA product with Biostar directly, please fill RMA form link to start RMA process. http://www.biostar-usa.com/apps/rma/new.asp
For your RAID issue, as long as you are using a Intel Z77 chipset motherboard, RAID should not be a issue unless the RAID was broken and needs to be rebuilt.
