ECS REBATES ARE A SCAM 12/09/2013
good price if you actually got your rebate.
I've been doing business with ECS brand equipment for about 10 years, back when we used to carry their generic laptops throughout the major chain I worked in via a Miami outlet. They are one of the lowest quality products you can buy. Knowing this, and not having purchased anything from them in a LONG time, I figured I'd give this a try, especially with a 24.00 rebate to make this board worthwhile. Well, sure enough, and true to their image, the rebate is nowhere to be found. You can't contact anyone for help, and they just don't care. Please listen to me when I tell you, buy anything but ECS. I will make it my mission in life to get the word out about ECS. It's the only way they'll learn. All my resources, and they are plentiful, will be used to fund a campaign here in the U.S. to get these people out from selling garbage and lying to their customers. It begins now, ECS, your days are numbered.
I defy anyone here to go to their website, and try to find drivers for this board within 5 minutes. It will take you at least 10 minutes to figure their garbage website out, then another 35 minutes to download the drivers from their Taiwanese servers. Truly, China needs to take over Taiwan and show them how to do things. What am I saying?
We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you had with finding the rebate and your drivers. The rebate form is found on the Newegg website, under the add to cart button on the right hand side, as it is with all our product on Newegg.
You can find your drivers on the ECS website by using the "search keyword" at the top of the ECS web page with the model number of your product, KBN-I/2100 in this case. After searching this will bring up the results for your product and divides it between 2 tabs, "Product" and "Drivers". By clicking the "Drivers" tab and then the link beneath it, you will be directed to the download page.
