Good buy but may need to replace very soon 01/04/2014
Pretty decent little card. Good performer and very quiet.
Got awesome deal at ~$100 after rebate during Black Friday sales. Looks like my rebate has processed and is on its way with no problems, but it's not without painstaking effort with extreme attention to detail.
While monitor is asleep, fans intermittently spin up. I've submitted a support ticket. We'll see what they come back with. However, I really don't want to go through a stupid RMA process. I'll probably throw away this card and replace it with an Intel if MSI tells me to ship it back.
As usual, I'm experiencing errors with CCC install which is truly annoying, but outside of MSI's control. Of all the times I've installed or upgraded CCC over the past several years, only twice has it gone smoothly. This is beyond annoying so I'll likely go with Intel cards in all future builds.
