-Throughput screams right along- then drops to zero and hangs
-No throughput statics on Tx & Rx packets

Like the other owners of this router I thought it was pretty cool at first. My old router was three years old and didn’t support 5G. I have a home office and Cisco IP phone. This router seemed to have it all. I bought the NightHawk and was happy for about two days. Then voice quality started to garble, clear up for a while, them garble again. In the past I’ve never experienced any voice issues. Our voice codex only requires 35kbps and up to 270ms latency. I would often have conservations with our office in Bangalore India without issues.
I started doing throughput testing to different Internet Speedtest sites would scream right along – then drop suddenly. I would try three different site and have they would all behave the same. I have a Tivo and would download entire 2hr HD movies on the old router in about 35 minutes. The Nighthawk would often take over an hour. Netflix too would have issues where we never had issues before. I eventually delete all there ‘auto-QOS’ setting but it didn’t make any different. When I was home alone with no other activity on the network it would drop packets.
What was really frustrating is that the router give no throughput statics for receive/transmit either on the WAN or other ports.
I eventually swapped back in my old WiFi-N router and all my issues went away. I spent my 30 days trying to debug this router. Now it’s going back.
