Spend the money elsewhere 02/20/2014
Graphics are solid and performance is there.
SEVERE buzzing noise. Since getting this card it's made a loud buzzing sound when playing higher demanding games (Battlefield 3/4 etc..). I know it's the card itself because the sound can be solid, on and off, or not there. Manufacturer tried telling me it might be a tone created by the card and comp case. The noise created is extremely annoying. Contacted manufacturer and had the original card RMA'd. Got replacement card and it makes the SAME SOUND. Likely they got the card, tested it, found no issue, and sent it back to me. Which is even worse and a complete waste of the money I paid for shipping to get a "replacement".
Summary: Spend the money elsewhere. If you're looking to do any kind of serious gaming, better to spend on a better performance card.
"Hey Stephen W!
The sound you're desceibing sounds like it could be coil whine. This sound is actually pretty common with most high end GPUs, but can be amplified by playing older games without Vsync enabled. I noticed that you've actually exchanged your card twice before for the same issue, though! There could also be a chance that something else is causing a problem and our 24/7 support team would like to help you resolve this at your convenience by contacting us at 1-888-881-3842 option 1, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
